Developing dexterity is key when we think about Young Learners developing the necessary muscle control to be able to write. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, between 2 and 4 years old, children start acquiring new and more complex array of hand movements and finger positioning. Providing a wide variety of materials to allow children to explore is key.
